Health and Safety CDM Coordinator

CDM Coordinator

We are all responsible for the safety of ourselves and in most cases others. This is common sense but unfortunately often neglected.

This neglect is generally born out of ignorance of duty and of law.

Most employers do not appreciate the significance of their duty under the Health and Safety at Work act to ensure anyone they employ is competent to complete the work they have been ask to complete, safely.

Employers of any construction work or contractor (incl consultants) have a duty of care to take reasonable steps to ensure that incompetent contractors are not employed.

Whether under the auspices of the Construction Design and Management regulations, Health and Safety at work act or even the Law of Tort, it is essential to manage risk to employees, visitors, public and any third party's.

Cubed specialise in providing the right advice early on and then throughout contractor employment to ensure risk is designed, managed and properly monitored from inception to completion.

Cubed provides advice on:

  • Risk management
  • CDM Co-ordinators role
  • Designers risk assessments
  • Hazard identification
  • Cost benefit analysis
  • Competency assessment
  • Cost planning
